A Prayer (to be said inside of a tree)
We worship among the trees so when we look around, we are reminded that we are inside of nature's womb.
As we pray among leaves, please allow yourself to notice the sun's rays as they grace us with their warm and bright embrace.
We give thanks to living walls that support a canopy of songs, colors, and liveliness. We rejoice in their abundance so that we may enjoy their protection and shelter and beauty.
We give thanks to our sun- so distant, but so life-giving. Everything that is alive moves giving thanks to its warmth and light.
We give thanks for the sound of rain, of wetness, and of thunder. We remember that we share the sound of our rising and falling breaths with the ocean's waves.
Life flows as water. We are thankful for its purity and abundance.
